On 20 November, the GTN-P Office hosted its annual virtual General Assembly, bringing together GTN-P Young National Representatives, National Representatives, the Advisory Board, and the Steering Committee. The meeting was attended by more than 40 participants from 15 countries and was very well received.

The programme included updates on activities of the GTN-P Office and Steering Committee, as well as a presentation on the new PermaCOST Action. The highlight of the event was a guest presentation by Sher Muhammad (ICIMOD), who shared insights into climate change in the Hindu Kush Himalaya region and its impacts on people. His talk highlighted the global importance of the Third Pole region and showcased permafrost monitoring efforts across this vast and climatically critical area.
